Zubda does not know who you are. There is no account, and nothing you read, keep or write is uploaded. The app does go online, for five things: to download new content, to show the pictures in some news stories, to report crashes, to count a short list of anonymous events if you allow it, and, if you subscribe, to let Apple take the payment and RevenueCat check it. Your reading history, saved cards, answers, streak, daily goal, reminder time, chosen topics, display name and the picture you chose for your avatar, even if it is a photo, are kept in the app's own storage on your iPhone. That record is never uploaded. It is part of your iPhone's own backup to iCloud or a computer, which is how it moves to a new phone, and deleting the app deletes it.تحفظ «زبدة» سجل قراءتك والبطاقات المحفوظة وإجاباتك وسلسلة أيامك وهدفك اليومي ووقت التذكير والمواضيع التي اخترتها واسم العرض والصورة التي اخترتها لملفك، ولو كانت صورة فوتوغرافية، في تخزين التطبيق على هاتفك. هذا السجل لا يُرفع إلى أي جهة، لكنه يدخل في النسخة الاحتياطية لهاتفك على iCloud أو على الحاسوب، وبها ينتقل إلى هاتف جديد. وحذف التطبيق يحذفه.
When the app opens, and on each new day, it asks our server whether a newer card library, brief or set of daily numbers exists, and downloads it if so. The request carries the version the app already has and today's date on your phone, and nothing about you. Portraits of the people behind the ideas can load from the same server. Supabase's routine server logs record the IP address of each request and are kept for one day. If you suggest a topic, the words you type go to the same server with the part of the app you sent them from and the app's language, and nothing that identifies you; we read them to decide what to add. Some stories in the brief show a picture that loads, when the story is shown, from Wikimedia Commons or from the image library of NASA, ESA (the European Space Agency) or ESO (the European Southern Observatory). That website sees your IP address, as any website you visit does, and its own privacy policy applies. Tapping a story's source opens it in Safari or the publisher's app, outside Zubda.تعرض بعض أخبار الموجز صورة تُحمَّل حين يظهر الخبر، من ويكيميديا كومنز أو من مكتبات الصور التي تنشرها ناسا ووكالة الفضاء الأوروبية والمرصد الأوروبي الجنوبي، فيرى ذلك الموقع عنوان IP الخاص بك كما يراه أي موقع تزوره، وتسري عليه سياسة الخصوصية الخاصة به. وإذا ضغطت على مصدر الخبر، فُتح في Safari أو في تطبيق الناشر، خارج «زبدة».
If the app crashes or hits an error, it sends a report so the fault can be found and fixed. A report carries the error and where in the app's code it happened; the app's version; the iPhone model and iOS version; technical details of the phone at that moment, such as free memory, language and time zone; a short list of the app's own steps just before the error, such as a request to one of the services on this page; and a random identifier Sentry creates for this install, which tells one phone crashing again and again apart from many phones crashing once. It carries no name, none of your content, no recording or picture of the screen, and no trail of your taps. While the app works normally, nothing is sent to Sentry. Sentry keeps reports for 30 days, then deletes them.إذا تعطّل التطبيق أو واجه خطأً، أرسل تقريرًا يُعرف به العطل فيُصلح. ويحمل التقرير الخطأ نفسه وموضعه في شيفرة التطبيق، ورقم إصدار التطبيق، وطراز الآيفون وإصدار نظامه، وتفاصيل تقنية عن حال الهاتف لحظتها مثل الذاكرة المتاحة واللغة والمنطقة الزمنية، وقائمة قصيرة بآخر ما فعله التطبيق قبل الخطأ، كطلب أرسله إلى إحدى الخدمات المذكورة في هذه الصفحة، ومعرّفًا عشوائيًا ينشئه Sentry لهذا التثبيت، نميّز به هاتفًا يتكرر فيه العطل من هواتف كثيرة وقع في كل منها مرة. ولا يحمل التقرير اسمًا ولا شيئًا من محتواك ولا تسجيلًا للشاشة ولا صورة منها ولا أثرًا لما لمسته فيها. وما دام التطبيق يعمل سليمًا، لا يُرسل إلى Sentry شيء. ويحتفظ Sentry بالتقارير 30 يومًا، ثم يحذفها.
The usage switch below does not cover crash reports. They say nothing about how you use the app, and without them a crash cannot be fixed.ولا يشمل مفتاح الاستخدام المذكور أدناه تقارير الأعطال، فهي لا تقول شيئًا عن طريقة استخدامك للتطبيق، ومن دونها لا يُصلح العطل.
While you set the app up, it asks once whether you want to share anonymous usage. Until you allow it, nothing is sent to PostHog. Each event also carries the iPhone model, the iOS and app versions, the device's language, time zone and screen size, and a random identifier the app creates for this install. That identifier is not linked to your name, your Apple ID or anything outside Zubda. There is no screen recording, no record of taps, and no location. You can change your answer at any time with the "Share anonymous usage" switch in the app's Settings; turning it off stops new events at once. Zubda+ is an optional monthly or weekly subscription, bought through the App Store with your Apple ID. Apple takes the payment and handles renewals, cancellations and refunds, under its own privacy policy. Apple does not give us your name, email address, payment details or Apple ID.«زبدة+» اشتراك اختياري، شهري أو أسبوعي، تشتريه من App Store بحسابك في Apple. وتتولّى Apple الدفع والتجديد والإلغاء واسترداد المبالغ، وفق سياسة الخصوصية الخاصة بها. ولا تعطينا Apple اسمك ولا بريدك الإلكتروني ولا بيانات الدفع ولا حسابك فيها.
To know whether you have Zubda+, the app asks RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc.), which checks App Store purchases on our behalf and handles this data only on our instructions. RevenueCat knows this install by a random identifier it creates, not by your name, email or Apple ID. When the app opens, and when you subscribe or restore, it receives that identifier, the app's version, and the App Store's record of any Zubda+ purchase: the plan, its price and dates, and whether it is active. Like any server, it sees your IP address. Its servers are on Amazon Web Services in the United States. It keeps the purchase history so your subscription can be checked and restored, and it is not used for advertising or to follow you across other apps. On your phone, RevenueCat's part of the app keeps a copy of your subscription status, so Zubda+ still works offline. Any connection over the internet shows the server your IP address. Sentry and PostHog are set not to store it, and PostHog does not use it to estimate where you are. Supabase sees it in its routine server logs, kept for one day, and the website a picture in the brief comes from sees it when the picture loads, as described above.كل اتصال عبر الإنترنت يكشف عنوان IP للخادم الذي يصل إليه. وقد ضُبط Sentry وPostHog على ألّا يحتفظا به، ولا يستعمله PostHog لتقدير موقعك. ويظهر لدى Supabase في سجلات الخادم المعتادة التي تُحفظ يومًا واحدًا، ولدى الموقع الذي تُحمَّل منه إحدى صور الموجز، كما سبق.
The services above store data in India (Supabase), Germany (Sentry) and the United States (PostHog), so what they receive leaves Saudi Arabia. Each acts on our behalf: it processes the data only to provide its service to us, under terms that bind it to protect the data at least as well as this policy describes. Transfers outside the Kingdom follow the conditions of Saudi Arabia's Personal Data Protection Law and its regulation on transferring personal data abroad. We do not sell any of this, use it for advertising, or track you across other apps and websites. The app has no advertising identifier and no advertising code, so it never asks for permission to track you. What it sends is used for one purpose: to find what breaks and what helps, and fix the one and keep the other.لا نبيع شيئًا من هذا، ولا نستعمله في الإعلان، ولا نتتبّعك عبر التطبيقات والمواقع الأخرى. ولا يستعمل التطبيق معرّف الإعلانات ولا يضم أي شيفرة إعلانية، ولذلك لا يطلب إذنك بالتتبّع. وما يرسله نستعمله لغرض واحد: أن نعرف ما يتعطّل وما ينفع، فنصلح الأول ونُبقي الثاني.
The daily brief and the day's numbers are written with the help of AI, from published sources that each story names, and each story's number is checked against its source before it reaches the app. That happens on our side, before anything is downloaded: the app never talks to an AI service, and nothing you read, keep or write is sent to one.يُكتب الموجز وأرقام اليوم بمساعدة الذكاء الاصطناعي، من مصادر منشورة يذكرها كل خبر، ويُطابَق رقم كل خبر على مصدره قبل أن يصل إلى التطبيق. ويجري ذلك لدينا قبل أن يُنزَّل أي شيء، فالتطبيق لا يتصل بأي خدمة للذكاء الاصطناعي، ولا يُرسَل إليها شيء مما تقرؤه أو تحفظه أو تكتبه.
If you turn reminders on, they are scheduled by iOS on your device. No push server is involved and no token is sent anywhere. You can turn them off in the app or in iOS Settings.إذا فعّلت التذكيرات، فإن النظام يجدولها على جهازك. لا يشارك في ذلك أي خادم إشعارات ولا يُرسل أي رمز إلى أي جهة. ويمكنك إيقافها من داخل التطبيق أو من إعدادات النظام.
Zubda is rated 13+ and is not directed at children under 13. It knowingly collects nothing that identifies anyone, child or adult.تصنيف «زبدة» العمري 13+، وهي ليست موجّهة إلى الأطفال دون سن الثالثة عشرة، ولا تجمع عن قصد ما يدل على هوية أحد، صغيرًا كان أو كبيرًا.
Accounts and sync do not exist today. If either is added, or the app starts sending anything new or to anyone new, this policy is updated before that version ships, and the change is described here rather than buried. On 1 October 2026 it added RevenueCat, which checks subscriptions, and the same day the pictures in the brief stopped loading from publishers' websites; they now come from Wikimedia Commons, NASA, ESA and ESO. On 26 September 2026 it added subscriptions, the pictures in the brief and your rights, and usage events became something the app asks for rather than sends by default. On 23 September 2026 it stopped saying the app used no network at all, when the services above were added.لا حسابات في التطبيق اليوم ولا مزامنة. وإذا أُضيف أي منهما، أو صار التطبيق يرسل شيئًا جديدًا أو إلى جهة جديدة، حُدّثت هذه السياسة قبل صدور تلك النسخة، ووُصف التغيير هنا بوضوح. ففي 1 أكتوبر 2026 أُضيفت إليها خدمة RevenueCat التي تتحقّق من الاشتراكات، وفي اليوم نفسه توقّف تحميل صور الموجز من مواقع الناشرين وصارت تأتي من ويكيميديا كومنز وناسا ووكالة الفضاء الأوروبية والمرصد الأوروبي الجنوبي، وفي 26 سبتمبر 2026 أُضيفت إليها الاشتراكات وصور الموجز وحقوقك، وصار التطبيق يستأذنك في أحداث الاستخدام بدل أن يرسلها من تلقاء نفسه. وفي 23 سبتمبر 2026 حُذف منها أن التطبيق لا يتصل بالشبكة إطلاقًا، حين أُضيفت الخدمات المذكورة أعلاه.
